Solly, Tim is 100% correct.

Get a stacker, my next trailer will be a 24' -30' stacker fifthwheel.

my 43' is great, but it can be a bear to get it around.

Good luck, Chris

Just a thought, must be some wicked insurance policy to be shifting a pair of beauties like that at the same time! Wouldn't want to get in too much of a sidewind.

could buy a stacker trailer like mine. 24' long (could be 20' and work for Ferrari's) and 12' high from the ground and could be 10' and work for Ferrari's. I would guess this trailer would be about 5-6K pounds with the lift. 10' is low but for 2 Ferrari's it would work great. it would also be fairly easy to tow with a sub. I wouldnt go cross country with it. if so, follow Chris' suggestion and get a truck. I have a 2500HD with the 8.1 gas, crew, single wheels, (duals is better but singles are fine for me or for what you are towing) and it ROCKS!!

Solly, I have pulled a lot of trailers, I currently have 3. A 20ft aluminum open trailer, a 24' enclosed, these are both tag along trailers.

My 43' is a fifth wheel I pull with a F800 Ford Tractor.

Your suburban is going to be too small to haul a 2 car trailer comfortably.

Can it do it? yes, but it better be a diesel 1 ton. The problem is not so much the pulling, it is the stopping and controlling it in cross winds.

You need a 4 door dually diesel truck, Ford Chevy or Dodge. Then buy a fifth wheel 2 car trailer.

A tag trailer is so unstable at the length you need, you will arrive white knuckled and worn out. Life is too short, buy a dually.

I have learned this lesson the hard way...

I believe the Suburban will pull 6 tons.

no, but I do show them frequently, and do track events whenever I can. Also, I sometimes need to take both cars and I don't trust anyone else to drive one while I drive the other.

Is it worth the hassle? i mean, if you are periodically shipping the cars between say, the NE and Florida, and keeping them in one location or another for a season, why not just have Horseless or another reputable carrier handle it for you. I guess my gripe would be having to play long haul driver, which wouldn't be too fun. that way, you can just fly to your destination, unencumbered (unless you have someone to do the driving for you).(if it is for hops to the track, i guess that's a different story, but your cars are not track cars, right?)

I need a 2 car enclosed trailer (Dino, 360) that can be towed by a Suburban (has tow package). Nothing fancy, just transport. Anyone have a recommendation? Can a Suburban tow a 2 car trailer without too many problems??
