As you mentioned in another post, you should be test driving other QVs in this, the early stage of your search. Also, keep an open mind regarding the earlier carburetted 308s. You should test drive a few of those too. I was amazed at the pull the car had over 4k it was a lot more than I expected. We started out with me in the passenger seat and it was very tight for me we had the top stowed behind the seats then I drove and found ample enough room on driver's side. The pedals threw me off at first but I picked right up on it and was comfortable with them I liked the gated shifter also. I ran it to redline in 1st and second a couple of times and I got an open road from a stoplight where I was able to run 1st thru 3rd to redline then we caught up to traffic were there was a state trooper the 2nd car in so I hauled her right down from speed. To sum it up an awesome experience.
