Just noticed my name in this "vein": i did do the driving for most of the money shots (that guy in Chicago will know what that means), but i trusted Pat Hong to do the "test" driving; he was careful with the car, did not dump the clutch on the standing starts and probably has more wheel time than most of us have had in the last few years. I did get to do a couple of drag runs at Englishtown against the clock; frankly, not what the car was meant for, but fun in any case. BTW, i have, like others, let people i trust drive my cars; they have always been unusually careful. I usually refuse to drive other people's cars when offered, though, cause i wouldn't enjoy it with the worry looming over my head.PS Hubert: got the Monster: its a gas!

Thank you for your responses gentlemen.

In this case, I am merely a conduit as I have been asked by the
Communications Director from the Sebring International Raceway
if someone would be willing to have their car featured in an article.

Other than this, I do not know much else.

Thanks Martin, you're referring to Alan Wilson's 330. Good idea,
neat car. Did you get your T-roof back after Moroso Concours?

Barton,
you may want to contact the guy with the 330 PanAm. He was nice enough to let them possibly do it.
This guy can also road test my 308GT4 TrackRat in Sebring in August if he wants to.
Not really a vintage race car though.

There probably has already been a road test on every vintage or current Ferrari done by someone at sometime for a person to draw from. No way would I turn my car over to a stranger to allow it to be road tested in the way most magazines do road tests.

This is the only information I have to date on this business.

If there is something which may be of interest in an article, we
are interested to find it.

Thanks.

One of the instructors at the Panoz school in Sebring, named
Jean-Sebastien Sauriol, does "road test" articles on vintage cars/race cars
for various magazines. He is looking for a car to feature in his next
article.

If there are any interesting "red cars" in the Central Florida (or other) area
with an owner who would be willing to cooperate please contact me directly
at:
[email protected]

Any direction, information appreciated...
