Hiya Scott! Hows it going buddy? Welcome to this site. I love this site a lot, it is very useful. These guys really know Ferraris here. Keep up the great work on your site, I really like that site too! |

I didn't drive the Ferrari today, someone else asked me if I was driving by Love field. I haven't autocrossed the Ferrari yet, but I want to. It has really hard tires (300 tread rating) and it's not great at those low end speeds, but it will still be fun. Plus, everyone can say they beat a Ferrari. I'll use my BMW for all the ER events because I'm going for the year long series. I will probably hit the SCCA autocross later this summer with the Ferrari. Maybe the one at TMS later this month. My main focus for the Ferrari is getting ready for the FCA annual meet. |

Rob, Did I see you this morning? I followed a 328GTs for about two minutes before the driver exited Beltline from 75 Central this morning. Driver Was bearded and had a Gray Shirt...I think. Either way, we should get together sometime. The Next Auto X is June 3rd out at Mineral Wells. Will you ever Auto X the Ferrari, or do you do better in the BMW? I've never seen anyone at an auto X with Ferrari. I know they aren't quite as competitive as some of the other cars...but should be loads of fun. |

Yes, autocross is a blast. I just started last year doing them on street tires with the BMW club. After about 10 events and an autocross school I can say I've learned a bunch, but still have a long ways to go. I never realized how much driver skill/experience has to do with a good time. You get to the point you're just trying to find tenths of a second. 1st through 3rd in my GS class yesterday was only separated by that 1 tenth. We'll catch up with one another someday. |

Fred, On that day yes, we had two cameras. A Friend of mine who usually works with me on the videos for the site was there to give another perspective of the action. We were both on the ground for a lot of it as well as hanging, at some times, centimeters away from the ground trying to capture the most dramatic angles. There's tons of left over footage from that day that we didn't use...and some of it was VERY low...and very cool. However, some of it didn't fit into the scheme of things for continuity purposes. I'm glad you liked it...I wish I had the resources and time to do more!!! I just need the cars more or less... |

Rob, Sure was...my best time's of the day happened to be in the FUN RUNs after everyone else went home though. If I had recognized your name and put two and two together I would have said hello! ^_^ You had some good driving...I was watching from turn three while working and noticed the nice smooth lines. You have much better times than I did. Yesterday was my second event...and I wasn't getting the best line...or traction. It sure was fun though! Here's the link to the results of yesterdays event: http://autocross.com/er/cc301.htm |

Scott- Great video! My 355 has been in the shop for a week so I took the vicarious test drive in yours. I especially like the low-camera angle shots. Did you have a friend laying down in the street? Fred |

Nope...no Tubi...all stock. The car belongs to a friend of mine and so far he hasn't done anything to it. I would like to hear a Tubi though...actually I think I may have at the track once...but couldn't pin-point where the sound was coming from as the cars passed me. So, I'm not sure to tell you the truth. I'm looking forward to the delivery of the same friends 360 later this year to do another video as well. I bet a lot of you guys would LOVE to see a TR video like this...well, if anyone lives in the DFW area and wants to get together...let me know. |

Scott, Super cool.. did your car have a Tubi on it? I heard an F355 w/ a Tubi the other day and it sounded great.. A really deep plunger type reverberation at idle and it almost sounded like a motorcycle as the driver wound it out... Hope my 512TR sounds as nice. Regards, mc |
