Yes there is a red 512TR way in front of me but it is one lap down, as usual! |

Paul's 308 is lovingly nicknamed "the woodchipper" due to unique sound created by the straight cut racing gears. |

There was also a red 512TR in the photo, but it's soooo far ahead of Paul it is out of the frame. |

Rob, Here's the list for the 308 QV: 1)Direct coil to plug Ignition 2)Modified Borla Exhaust 3)Completely desmoged 4)4 48mm Weber IDF Carb's (replacing FI) 5)Custom Intake manifolds for webers 6)4 new custom designed cams (made in Italy) 7)11:1 compression pistons 8)Ported, Polished and Flowed heads (new valves and springs. 9)light flywheel and clutch. 10)Double bearing transfer case with quick change straight cut gears (3 different ratio's) That's it so far. Nika, There is a yellow car trying to catch me that must count for something? |

It wasn't a Ferrari event - it was a school at the Driver Development section of Mosport - not the full track. We were filming a few shots for a training video. The couple that run the show - Linda and Ian Law, ran a great day.......lots of track time - reasonable fee. Paul - GREAT SHOT - your car is fabulous....even if not yellow |

Nika, I drove mine on the track for the first time at Moroso and I will never miss another chance to track her, In fact it was so much fun that I decided to give her some more power for the FOC Homestead event in Oct., she will have in excess of 400 HP and still be an every day driver.

I know .... I was soooo against taking my baby on the track - today was 100 degrees too. But I did and I must say he impressed me. The handling was better than I expected - not too much roll - braking great and although I never got all corners done to a science I hel d my own. I would of NEVER thought my 308 could be so much fun on the track. I can't wait for the next event........I'm hooked!!!!! |
