There is a guy living here in Miami Beach now that owns 12 Lambo Diablo and the new Lambo (I think 2 sofar) He has them in all colors of the rainbow. There are 8 or so here iN Miami and the rest in NEw York.
I would not be surprised to find out he is the one with the 3 Testas. I will have my mechanic ask him.

Sounds like he was spinning you a line about one owner for the three cars. As you say, if you can afford three new F cars then why worry about mileage.
There is an Arab who owns a particular car type in every colour of the rainbow (think they are Rolls-Royces), but nothing to do with keeping mileage down! |

sitting in the office on the 4th with little to do but visit this site, got me thinking.....
when i first moved to nyc in 1987, i lived on 23rd street between 1st and 2nd. not having a car (or virtually anything else for that matter), i was a bit starved for automotive stimulation, so when i parked a rental car in a nearby parking garage (on 23rd i think), i wandered around looking for something interesting. i found 3 testarossas parked side by side; one red, one white, one blue. i thought this was an amazing coincidence so i asked the attendent about it. turns out that some wealthy ferrari nut always bought the top of the line in triplicate so that he could drive one all the time but never put excessive mileage on any one car. i know this sounds absolutley crazy but that was the story and the 3 cars were actually there. has anybody ever heard of this guy (maybe he visits this site) and/or does anybody else do this kind of thing or am i right to think that if you had enough money to buy 3 of these cars why would you worry about mileage or re-sale....... |
