Actually, Don Panoz has started a company called eMotion to convert Smart Cars to electric power. He is going to rent them in city centers and at rapid transit stations like MARTA in Atlanta. | ||

My mom brought one of those smartcars home from work one day. They can't sell them in the US, but as company promotionals they can import them. The thing is almost comical to drive down big US roads. | ||

I wish! I toured the factory during a previous trip - this time I went for a quick get away...and to do some shopping. Some interesting things I noticed is the popularity of those "Smartcars" and the lack of good Ferrari souvenirs. Apart from my shoes and some liqueur in an F1 shaped bottle - N.A. dealerships have so much more in Ferrari merchandise. I did toast to everyone's health while there - and "to spring arriving soon" so I can take my 308 out for the long drive he deserves. ciao | ||

unfortunately they are on my feet. While in Rome I bought a few pairs of those Ferrari loafers TODS had - and I must say they are VERY comfortable. Thank you Adam and everyone from the previous posts for letting me know about them. On another note, I was surprised to not have one Ferrari sighting during my few days in Italy!
