I'm with Rob, my goal is MORE Ferraris, not trading to a better one. I already have a 6 car garage designed in my mind at my current house.

Don't sell the Mondial and buy the BBi.

I can't afford it right now, but my goal is to never sell a Ferrari in my life.

Tom;

Talk to Bryan before you make you final purchase. One of his customers bought the Boxer from WWoC a few months ago, and it is still not on the road with some issues. Just as an FYI

sell the mondial at the height of summer, and buy the boxer. much better bet for the future. just make sure you give the mondial a good home with loving parents.....

Thanks william, I will use that analogy when I discuss it with my wife. :-) Frank, I have been focusing on 84s with some 83s. I have found they can be had in the mid to high 50s with some milage and service required to mid 70s with service, low miles (15-30k) and great cosmetic condition. Some out there are asking in the 90s for example your friends as FOA have a collector car (great cosmetics) but no service and 8k miles- they are asking in the mid 90s' I told the guy I would consider somewhere in the high 70s to 80s with all the services done - he never called me back - I thought it was a good deal. I was probably on the high side. A 365 BB is a monster - and very rare and prob has the closest link to racing. They are hard to find and generally price close to the high end of a 84 FI car. There is a guy on the board who has one - they are sweet

HA! I knew WIlliam, International Playboy would compare it to women! LOL

I miss my first racercar so bad - I still think there isn't another car out there that I can drive so well - I could of driven it blindfolded....hmmmmm...some people thin I drive blindfolded anyway LOL

If I could find that car - I'd buy it back - at least NOW I can afford to fix it

Yes, its not easy but if u think of Ferraris as women u r trading in a Hausfrau for a mature Diva. Course Divas require more expensive maintenance but when they put out :-) Rrrrrrr LOL

I too have been considering buying a 365GT4BB but can't get myself to let the 348 Spider go. What kind of prices have you found out there on Boxers ?

my first was a 1982 308 GTSi. I sold it when I bought my 1983 Boxer...but since then I have bought a 1982 GTSi again, sold it, and a 1979 GTS which I still have. The boxer's greatest fault is the rake on the front window, the sun kills you during the day, and the reflection from the dash is awful. I think the boxer right now is still underpriced and a great bargain. Take the plunge...and don't keep more than one Ferrari... they are a pain to maintain. I know. I have five. Only one is running perfectly right now...and who knows for how long...

As some of you know I have been looking for a Boxer over the last few months with the idea of getting rid of my mondial. I have taken several drives in diff boxers and it is one amazing car - a pure monster. That said I am having a hard time saying goodby to my mondial. I have had it about a year and I just love it. I feel as if I am just getting a feel for all its nuances. I know you will say keep the mondial and get the boxer - I just can't justify it to the boss (wife :-)). I really like the ease with which the mondial drives and enjoy being able to come home from work and take her for a spin - plus a convertible in the summer is great. Are these feelings normal( sounds like I need therapy). Did you guys have trouble saying goodby to your first? love to hear your views
