Another one I like but forgot is Canyon Road just south of Ellensburg on the way to Yakima.

For those of you running on Ames Lake, stop on by and I will be likely to join you! I live in Amesbury across from the park. Email me directly if you want to get together for a run sometime...

If you're talking real "eastside", try Highway 99 between Goldendale and Toppenish. It won't be a constant challenge to your driving skills, but:
-its pretty
-its a pass, so there's good elevation changes
-enough straights where you can get going fast
-enough turns where you can have some fun
-nice, but never boring
-there are almost no roads off it, so you can let it out and not have to worry about something getting in your path at the last second.

Tolt Hill Road. It's short but the twisties are nice. It's great fun going up the hill as well as down. Down the road. Go past Carnation Golf Club for more rural sideroads.

Ames Lake Road. Pretty good runs without traffic. A lot of truck traffic lately though. :-(

202 and 203. Fun with the Ducati riders! :-)

There's a northern section of W. Snoqualmie Valley Road near Monroe with nice, tight twisties and good elevation changes (a bit dangerous when cold). You don't really need to drive too fast here to really enjoy the road.

I think that's about it for close-to-town quickie runs.

Some of my faves in your neighborhood are:
Carnation Farm Road
and
Paradise Lake Road

There's a nice loop to be made out of these, including Union Hill Rd and Woodinville-Duvall Rd.

And of course, Hwy 2, headed east from Monroe to Leavenworth is loads of fun, in warmer months.

Expanding on the great drives thread, I was wondering if any of the locals have places they love around here? I tend to take advantage of the roads around my place on the Eastside which include Union Hill, Ames Lake, 202 and 203. Others?
