It looks pretty shiney! Maybe that guy with the
Ferrari in his living room could make a matching cocktail table out of it?

I was only joking. Yes, who knows what else is lurking inside that lump. I'm going through the trouble of rebuilding my motor...I don't want to do another!

You may be able to get a few useable parts off of it but for the most part it's best use probably would be a boat anchor. Approach this one carefully!!!!!!!

It should fit right in. You get 3.2L. FI latest transmission mods plus more HP. But.... you lose the sound and looks of those Webers.

Wouldn't that be sweet... always have a spare motor handy, just for those occasions when one gets a little carried away...

...a 328 motor could fit in a 308 chassis, right?

And miss out on all that fun you're having Peter??? Of course it would be nice to have the car running sooner and work on the spare motor in your 'off' time....

Did anyone else see that brand new, 0 miles, still-in-the-factory-crate 308 QV motor that sold about two months ago? Went for $12500 US. I think you can still see it if you type in:

554520513

in the search window. Would've been nice if I could've dropped that in my GT4!

Here's an interesting E-Bay item. They say "it ran low on oil and seized up one of the camshafts". I would suspect more damage than that with low oil. In any case, notice how the cogs are missing from the left bank belt....
