A friend of mine has a 2001 M5 and a 996TT. I have been in both and the performance is insane. Had the Prosche up to 125mph in 5th gear turning only 4000rpm. I am still lobbying him to get a Modena. Have to show him that his German kids need an Italian big brother. |

Drove my friends 98 Diablo SV!!! UNREAL power and smooth with power steering. I felt completely comfy in it and it was suprisingly tractable around town as well. Id get one if I had the means ...yes I would |

The BMW Z3-M is FUN little car! Viper GTS is a monster too. Most fun for the buck would go to a friend with a monster Miata(looks stock expect it sits a little higher and has fender flares). The look on people's faces(especially Camaro drivers) when you smoke them is priceless. Same guy also has a Saleen S-351 that is fun. |

A friend of mine has the best non-ferrari car I could think of: a 1958 Chevy Truck with a 454 with 4 wheel drive. He uses it to haul his motorcycles to and from the track. Thing must have 500+ HP and weigh less than 3500#. Faster than hell, but looks almost stock (except for the tires). |

The Z3 is a fun car. My friend let me drive his dad's 97 2.3(shhh) and it was fun. It could have used some more power, but it was fun. Its so small and agile, but the handling limit wasnt very high. The shifter wasnt as good as i expected it to be which made it hard to shift fast, but other than that it wasnt too bad. |

Frank, I agree... drove the BMW Z3-M with new 313HP engine for 2001, had great fun! The car is great because you sit with half your body sticking out the top of the car and you feel the speed more. Kind of like a motorcyle. Or maybe like the feel of those old Ferrari Spyders, where you could see most of the drive sticking out of the top of the car. |

One of my friends also has a new M5 and that car flies. Another friend has a red Lambo Miura that was outrageous to ride in. Lambos are so brutal. |

Buddies 1999 MBZ E55. For some reason, I have an endless fascination with that damn car. Big "old" E body style, power, BRAKES, and a sleeper image. As close as I'll be to a "hammer". |

I carried my M5 in for service yesterday and was given a Z3 as a loaner car. It is a blast to drive ! It is peppy, handles well and has a snarl to the engine that sounds great. The M version is even better ! Not a bad toy to own. |
