Jeremy,

Give Bill Pound a call. Bill used to have a shop in San Diego but moved to Orange County a few year back. He's a nice guy, very fair, and with his extensive expertise he really knows what to look for. His number is (909) 245-6017

I don't know where Playa Del Ray is, but I used Patrick Otis in Berkeley a few months ago and was very pleased. I bought the car sight unseen based on his inspection.

I bought my 1978 308 gts from a dealer in redondo beach before the sale i took it to Exotic Performance,4100 Glencoe Avenue, Marina Del Ray to have it checked out. Robert Jenni did a good job and even got it smoged for me when it hadn't been tuned up in years. Telephone 1-310-821-6801

I am looking at a 1981 308GTSi in CA (First Ferrari!!!!). Playa Del Ray to be more precise. Can anyone recommend a good shop to do the inspection, and a good restaurant while I am there? Many thanks.

Jeremy
