Rick:

I would take pictures of the car, and all sides, plus the interior BEFORE you ship it, and a very careful inspection after receipt. That way you have before and after condition of the vehicle.

I've used intercity and passport to ship cross country. experience was fine but I'm going to try horseless carriage next time to check it out.
Why is it important that the company is located in cleveland ? if their business is any good, the transports should be on the road most of the time.

I use Horseless Carriage also, but fellow chatters use Intercity and are very happy with them as well. Intercity also has lower prices.

I think Exotic Car transport has enclosed carriers. I am not sure of their location though.

Rick: Be careful and inspect your car closely when it arrives. I had my car transported in December and it arrived with over $7000 in damage due to a broken air dam, gear case and two ruined wheels. I am just getting the settlement check this week. Smart move to get recommendations. I just want to have you make sure that the original bill of lading is accurately completed and take your time when the car arrives and make notes of any discrepancies. My story is not really so horrible, just a pain. My car is now in better condition than when it was shipped. It is worth the money to ship with a specialist.

I am currently getting my car shipped via Horseless Carriage (VA to FL) and they are the official shippers for Ferrari, Bentley, and Rolls Royce.
