Well damn. Guess where I was yesterday? Norwoods. James Gardner is gone, James Patterson was there to talk about working on my car. It didn't look like business was slow, there were no fewer than 6 cars there being serviced, and that was just outside. The collection continued inside. They were working on some 800-1200hp Japanese cars that you would never suspect if you pulled up next to them. Also a couple of GTO conversions and the usual collection of interesting iron. I guess I'll have to inquire further when I go pick up my car. By the way, I'll be ready for the next DFW meeting in 2 weeks!

True Rob,
They are still doing maintenance & fabs. I will be takeing my Mondial Cab. beast in on monday for Dr. Bob to check out. ( He origionally built it.) It's been two years from a regular check-up, I do good work, but I favor an expert opinion. I posted a car pic in ferrarichats showroom, under 1985 mondial cabs, it's the black one. I couldnt get the photo to fit in my profile, too big?

Bob sold out part of the business to James (not Gardner) a few years ago I think. I think some of the old special projects are just sitting around and maybe still owned by Bob. Bob doesn't do much with the everyday business, he just plays with his 4500 hp Acura Integra dragster. James and James and the mechanics keep busy with regular service of Ferraris, Lambos, and other exotics. They still also do the special performance mods and GTO conversions.

I haven't talked to them recently except to set up a FerrariChat.com dyno day. That's coming in the next month or two.

Damn, I always wanted a custom Norwood 288GTO & a 300P4. I wonder if he closing hs shop? Remeber when he did the Acura Integra project? Maybe he's just getting away from Ferraris. If anyone will know, Jim or Rob will know whats going on.

Just looking at an ad in Autoweek, starts out : P4's,288/GTO's & the Norwood A12 ( other info pertaining to the sale ) and ends with $375000 call Bob 972-831-8111. Is he selling just the fab part of his business or what.
