You never get your money out of making a race car, at least I've never seen anyone (excluding Koenig, Norwood, of course). For the most part you can pick them up for nothing compared to the cost of building, running, and maintaining them. Someday I would love to make a 308 racer. This is my goal for now at least. Have a nicely setup 308 and then have a track set up one that has been totally stripped out like this. It costs a lot of money though to do. | ||

It looks pretty stock, I would imagine it's got a couple more horses than a stock one. Can't really tell without knowing details (could have wicked cams, pistons, etc). Doesn't have a turbo on it as far as I can tell. You wouldn't really want to run more than 400HP in a 308 trans so that would be your limit. The key to its performance is how much less it weighs than stock. | ||
