Theres alway bear mountain bret, and if you dont have the extra lane on the tappan zee you will probably save time. |

Tarrytown to Nyack where you get off of 95 S and onto 287 S. Crazy exit, I've never been rear ended, but everytime I take this exit someone comes close (had it happen once in the 308 and a couple times in the jeep). Poor road design IMO because people don't expect traffic to be stopped in the right lane with traffic doing 80 in the left. Cool, my dad's girlfriend lives in West Nyack so I'm up there quite a bit lately. |

Nice. On the way home last weekend in the jeep(I did no Ferrari work at home ) at the Tappan Zee Bridge exit I slowed down very gently and another guy almost rear ended me. I started to duck over to the shoulder, but he went that way so I tucked back in. It still amazes me that people are surprised that the exit is at a dead stop. Like 99% of the time it is, yet people still almost hit each other. I think I have to start driving different roads, there has to be another way across the river than the GWB and TZ. Raft maybe? |

On Friday I picked up my mondial from the shop after 3 weeks. Boy did I miss her! On the way home was on the parkway as traffic started to back up - I sat as I watched the guy in the construction pick up behind me not break till the last minute - he must have stopped short of my bumper by about 1 inch - whew!!!!. Now I know how bret felt. Drove the car all weekend as the wife an kids are away - can't wait for the weather to improve!! |
