Dave; Having once lived in Conn. may have given me an advantage. I am in florida now so I had a friend (78 308GTS owner) play agent for me. |

Hi Robert, I have only seen a couple QV's in silver, but have seen a number of older carb 308s in silver. As a matter of fact, I have a 308 slicker from 76 that has both a red GTB and a silver GTB, both euro cars... |

Robert If I didn't live so far away, I might have bought that silver car. But I have had 3 308's! If I saw a silver QV GTB that looked like that, I would be on the next plane! I have seen more gray (grigio) 308's than silver. Yours is the only one I recall with tan interior. Most others are black or red interiors. Congratulations! Dave |

I'm the one who bought the Degarmo car! I have to retake photo's so that this site will except them (too many bytes). I guess that the pic's are still on his site. Great car! I had the 15000 mile service done to the max and had my brother redo the windows (amazing results when you clean out the motor gear boxes. Put 1000 miles on it and its awesome! Miss my old Friend's boxer though. What attracted me was the color. I just never saw a silver and black 308 with tan interior. |

Robert, there have been several 308 owners that have posted threads regarding the #'s of 308's built with certain color schemes. I for example have an '84 Euro 308. I'd love to know how many Euro 308s came into the country for that year. Unfortuneately, these kinds of records are extremely hard to find...if not impossible. If you do end up finding a source for such kinds of production records, please fill us in! |

Robert...Congratulations on your purchase! Could you post some pics? The silver and dark grey metallic (Glasurit 700) are supposed to be rare colors from what I've been told. Mine is the latter color. |

Silver is a rare color on 308's, but there are others. DeGarmo in Connecticut recently sold a real nice silver/tan one owner car. |

Paul's is pretty much that color as far as I know. Other than that can't think of any off the top of my head. |

I recently purchased a mint 1985 308 GTSI QV. It is Silver with Black accents (roof panel, spoiler, front vents etc). I was wondering how many in this color were made because I have never seen another. Thanks in advance |
