Wow, my entire 2 week trip was made today by visiting the Autosport Gallery and meeting everyone. Reese McClain and Chris Hill opened this place together several years ago. The name Chris Hill is probably very familiar to several of you. He has restored such classics as the 250 GTO proto and a 250 TR. It's an immaculate shop south of Kansas City close to 206th and Metcalf. It's worth the trip for anyone passing through. There were no less than 11 Ferraris there today... (2 355's, F40, GTO, TR, 250 GTE?, 2 308's, 328, 400i, BB). Plus several Porsche Turbos, GT-350 repro, and 57 T-Bird among others. It's a beautiful facility with 3 lifts and everything else needed to do anything and everything Ferrari. Reese and Chris are both really nice guys that took at least an hour to entertain me and it will probably be awhile before I can give them any business. I'll post the pictures this weekend after I'm back in Dallas. Everyone, please give them a call, not only are they the only dedicated Sales and Service shop in a several state area, but they also cater to customers all over the states. Thanks KC!!! Ok, what city wants to top that. I'm in NYC 5/29 and 5/30. ;) |

Great, I just talked to Reese and I'll probably be down there by 4:30, if not before. I look forward to seeing the shop and meeting everyone. |

Rob, we only have one Ferrari repair shop, it is Autosport Gallery at 206th & Metcalf, south of Overland Park. (913) 402 1710. It is primarilly a sevice shop but it does offer a limited number of Ferrari's for sale. The shop currently has a 288 GTO with the engine out. a 512BB with an engine on its way out. several F355's a couple of 328's an F40 (not mine) but if want to take mine out for a (wheel) spin let me know! Contact Chris Hill and tell him Chris told you to call, that will get you in afterhours if you want, I am sure a steak dinner can be had for the asking! I can meet you their after 4:00 if you would like. |

I'm in KC through Friday and want to check out any local dealers and spread the FerrariChat spirit. FNA doesn't have any official dealers listed, but it seems like I've seen some advertised in Forza, can anyone let me in on the 411. Thanks, rob |
