Good point Tino.

On quality, they may well be the best. But on the very objective issue of sound, there may well be superior options.
Koenigs and Fuchs are always the makes who's sounds appear to be above criticsm. A LOT of people have said Tubis become annoying after awhile with excessive 'boomyness,' vibration and bass. (esp on 550)
There's no substitute for hearing the others to make your mind up.

Manu,
How can Tubi not make the best exhaust for Ferrari when they make it for their F1, 333, F40, F50 and F60 ?

I will post a picture of the car, but not my wife and I having sex in the car, I would not want to make you all jellouse, of the wife, I mean car, car and wife, well you get the picture, well not. The car is a F1, and that is the only way that we could have done it because I am 6-7, and wife is 5-8, as I said it was a tight fit

Scott-- With regard to "scrape guards" for the front, contact David Freed (no relation) of Premier Motorsport--310-559-1562. They've got a great product that really saves the integrity of the front under-bumper area.

I cant tell you how much I am in love with my new 360, My wife was worried that she would end up neglected so the fist night I had the car we had sex in it. Problem solved, a bit of a tight fit all around I might add

As a Tubi alternative, you may wish to have your service tech adjust the valve in the factory exhaust system so that it remains open throughout the entire power band.

Scott,

The most biggest favor you could do for your 360 is to drive it...a lot.

Stonegard should be a priority item for dark color cars.

Front and rear Challenge Grills are good to have. I have the rear grill when I ordered my car and is now in the process of installing the front ones (wasn't an available option when I ordered the car). The rear Challenge Grill keeps the temperature down by allowing greater airflow. Grills cost a lot when you buy them separately. When I order my next brand new Ferrari, it would be optioned to the hilt to minimize extra costs.

Rotor replacement would be the same as any car that's frequently tracked. Parts will be expensive, of course.

As regards point 11).
The 360's standard exhaust doesn't deliver the thrill it ought to. So I'm with you on getting an aftermarket exhaust. However..I DONT think Tubi build the best exhausts for Ferrari. Too boomy from what I've heard from some people.

Consider also a Koenig exhaust:

Scott...you forgot to add "S.F. Fender Shield" stickers to the list ...

Seriously, though, congratulations on the 360! I had the opportunity to see a 360 in the same color combo as yours down at Ferrari of Central Florida a couple of weeks ago -- very nice (my wife absolutely loved it).

I have enjoyed lurking and reading the posts of the board over the last 9 months. As I have been searching for my first Ferrari, I have solicited advice from this board, and I have always found it helpful and insightful. I am fortunate to now own a 2000 360 Modena, 6-speed, Pozzi Blue/Tan. And yes, I will post pictures as soon as I can.

I am now soliciting the advice of the entire board, and especially other 360 ownerswhich is What hints or tips can you give me to make owning this car more enjoyable, rewarding, etc. Ill start my own list, but I would love to have people add to it.

1) Drive It!
2) Put in a rear challenge grill to (potentially) decrease engine compartment temperatures.
3) Put in front challege grills to keep debris out of the ducts.
4) Buy floormats.
5) Wax it with something high quality (Zaino, Blitz, Zymol, Blackfire).
6) Use a good leather conditioner.
7) Buy a fire extinguisher.
8) When changing the oil, consider BMW synthetic vs. Shell Helix to save some money.
9) Consider Stoneguard (or similar) to protect against paint chips.
10) Attend a driving school.
11) Consider a Tubi.
12) Carry the front license plate with you.
13) Be good to your local dealer/Ferrari mechanic.
14) Get a good radar detectorand use it.

And while Im at ita few questions.

1) What about Scotch Guarding the carpets?
2) Anyone found nice luggage that fits (Im thinking Target duffel bags would work as well as anything)especially for behind the seats?
3) Has anyone used Rhino Ramps to pull their car up on to get underneath it?
4) Any scrape guards available to deal with low front-fast parking lot entrance scenario?
5) As an M3 owner, warped brake rotors and track days seem to be a way of lifeis this a concern with the Modena?

Thanks in advanceScott Collins
