I was also at the spa ferrari day. The day started off a bit odd though. After driving for 4.5 hours to belgium's circuit, the guy at the entrance wouldnt let me in cause i didnt have an invitation (!?). Anyway, i got in eventually (after being soaked standing outside in the rain wondering how to get in). Well, the F1 cars Edvar mentioned were a pleasure to check out, aswell as the other race-ferrari's gathered there. I was really disappointed by the bad weather though when it cleared up a bit later that day, alot of cars still went out on the track, which was great to see. I was astonished to see that even the old cars were really driven to the max by some people. Very fun to look at indeed. Shame the F1 cars never got out that day ;( Good thing I happened to stumble upon Jens though! (ok i searched for half an hour:P) He totally made my day by giving me a ride in his lovely 348tb. Ill never forget that...I couldnt believe how well the car could take corners at higher speeds ...not to mention the endless seeming acceleration in every gear... what's this cars RPM-limit by the way?? It just went on and on! Thank you so much again Jens, can't tell you that enough. Meant alot. As for now, i can't wait to visit the Nürburgring in september. Should be awesome. ps: Jens, great to hear day2 was alot better weather-wise! I hate missing all that f1 action! ps2: I was going to post a link with all the pictures i took, but Edvar's gallery covers it just about all anyway. Btw Edvar... your pics are better actually |

Hi Edvar, I will be definitely going to the Ferrari Days at the Nürburgring in September. I do not know it for sure but I have heard that it is very probable that the FX "Enzo Ferrari" will be presented to the public at that weekend. It is exactly one week before the car will be officially presented at the Paris motor show. On the other hand it is a great opportunity to show the car on the Ring and let it be driven by Michael Schumacher. I am really looking forward to that event since it is virtually just around the corner for me!!! P.S. Have forgotten to congratulate you to the fantastic pictures taken from Spa! Really good!!! |

Hi Jens. Good to hear that the second day was better. Unfortunately, I had to work that day. I hope I have more luck next year! Last year (at the Nurburgring) was great too. Nice weather, nice cars and a lot of F1 noise! Hhhhmmmmmm ;-) By the way: nice 348! Will you go to the Nurburgring in September?? I heard stories that the "Enzo" will be there ..... |

Hello Edvar, I have been in Spa as well. Really sad for you that you did not spend both days there! On the second day weather was much better and all F1 cars did some laps. It was really great to see these cars in action and here the sound. Even better was to do some laps on this incredible circus in dry conditions. Just loved to see how good the car behaved on the track. A Ferrari is really ment to be driven here and not in an overcrowded city or on the autobahn where you just go straight all the time. Absolutely great was to do one lap with Thomas Koch in his actual 360 challenge car. I never thought you can go so fast and break so late. Really astonishing experience!!! Weather was very bad indeed but I will definitely come back to these meetings again and again just to enjoy the tracks, see great cars and meet some friends. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

Hi all, For those who are interested in it, I want to let you know that I made two more galleries with some nice Ferrari pictures. http://community.webshots.com/album/43511754hhGZrF -------------------------------------------------- Those pictures are of the "Modena Motorsport Spa Ferrari Days". This event was organized by Uwe Meissner (of the Ferrari shop Modena Motorsport in Germany) and Helmut Schnug ("Classics In Camera") and was held on July 10th and 11th on the track of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. The event focusses on Ferrari F1 cars and that resulted in the gathering of at least 16 of those fantastic cars. Of course, many other interesting cars were present too. Unfortunately, the weather was VERY bad on the day that I was there, so none of the F1 cars could drive. But it was still a very interesting day!! On the pictures, you will find these Ferraris: 312 B2, 312 T3, 312 T4, 641, 642/643, F399, 500 F2, 500 Mondial, 330 P, 250 Testa Rossa, 250 SWB, 250 LM, 312 PB, 512 S, 512 M, F40 Competizione, 333 SP, 166 Inter, 195 Inter, 410 Sport and a few normal road Ferraris (incl. gold-coloured 550 Maranello) and also one non-Ferrari: a nice McLaren F1 GTR (longer than normal road car). http://community.webshots.com/album/43508862BFEqej -------------------------------------------------- This smaller album has some pictures of the "Viva Italia" event on the TT-track of Assen, The Netherlands. My brother and I joined a couple of Ferrari owners and their cars (512 BB, 512 BBi and 308 GTS QV) and we had a fantastic time. It's so much fun to be a passenger in those Ferraris!! Especially on the track, but driving on the normal roads is fun too! (or see http://community.webshots.com/user/evandaalen for all my galleries) I hope that you will enjoy the pics!
