So which does everyone consider a more realistic possibility: 1. Randy earning enough donations to buy a Ferrari, or 2. Myself actually locating and purchasing a 12 cylinder Ferrari sitting in the weeds in the back of some long forgotten salvage yard. What would the Vegas oddsmakers say about those chances?

I really don't think it is the way to get a Ferrari and would not contribute, but I do think that Randy always gives good contributions to the board. |

Immediately came across to me as just one of lifes many freeloaders, but in his defence at least he sounds like he's moved on and now working for his cash What I actually found more interesting/saddening is how many are happy to support the action as novel, applaudable, even entreprenaurial. |

Well, I might be a moron to some people and a comedian to others. So it all depends on how you look at it. I think there are two audiences to this - those that think its funny and those that don't. I'm certainly not some rich guy - yet, but I've got a lot of great ideas those of which, while I'm still young, I'm learning and finding my ways through the system to make things happen the best I can. Yup, I do sell Hamann, HRE, Kinesis, lots of other stuff. Mainly because I like doing it, and right now as an unemployed techie, that's all I do. Most of my time is spent ordering and importing parts for particular cars from Europe and Japan. But that's all I can really say about me. As for the site - its still funny as hell in my opinion, that's why I'm still doing it. Unfortunately I haven't updated the site nor pushed my redesign in quite some time. I'll get back on the project sometime soon. Anyways, thanks for commenting on it. =) |

Hey Mike, Why do you say he's a moron? How do you know if it will work without trying? Take a risk, thats what its all about. He's made some money. You got to respect his idea, most folks in this forum wouldn't try this. I know the guy that runs this site & he owns others. You got to remember that www.buymeaferrari.com was set up back in 1999 when the stock market was stronger. What can i say, it was worth a shot. You may never know, the Sultan of Brunei could see it & could float Randy the cash for a new 360 or just give him one of his old F cars. You never know until you try.

This guy has like 3 websites that sell parts from koenig, hamman, etc all for ferraris, from looking at them it would appear that he can easily afford a Ferrari. The part that gets me is that he is asking people to buy him a 360!! If he really loved ferraris he should be asking for a 308, which i'm sure he could afford. Hey ELI, can you give me your 360 when you replace it? |

Lol, well hey, I guess it never hurts to ask. ;) I bet it would even work if her took the site more seriously. Maybe a online personal log, some pictures and information on his life and whets happening, etc... |
