I have Forgeline wheels on my M3 and love them. Lightweight and strong. Good-looking and easy to clean. I am going to get new wheels for my 360. They will be lightweight and forged. And they will fill the wheel wells... 10" on the front and 13" on the rear. But they can't look just like my M3 wheels... that just wouldn't be right. Ideally, they'd look like Ferrari wheels... and they must allow me to get the Ferrari center emblem and put it on (just as I did with the BMW emblem on my Forgelines). Do you have a pic you can post of the Viper-only VR1 wheel? The problem with a 19" wheel is finding race tires. Does Michelin make Pilot Sport Cup's in 19"? I don't think Kumho makes 19". Without a good tire to put on it, I'd have to get 18" (which is hard enough to get tires for). |

Ferrari Chat, I was speaking with Forgeline this afternoon and they were interested to hear what you may like in current/future wheels. What got us on the topic was converting the 19" Viper-only VR1 wheel for use on a 360. They were open to the idea and were curious if there were any others. If you'd like a voice heard on wheel product development, this is a good chance-- one of the top forged wheel makers is ready to listen. Dennis Walsh [email protected] |
