I like the K&N. I put them in all my vehicles. I just purchased one for my 308. It will last as long as the vehicle you put it in. |

I got mine from; http://www.summitracing.com Mine was for an 80 308 and was like $39.00 including shipping. I think I got the part # from somehwere else, most likely k&n's web site and then just ordered it through summit. |

I have one and I like it. No real difference in performance that I could tell (how often am I wide open throttle and timing myself), but there was a slight sound difference and it's just cool because you can clean it and reuse (my filters always seem to get dirty fast, must be good old NJ air). |

The deal with K&Ns is that you need to find out the model number that you need to find out what model fits yours (K&N part #) then look for regular K&N dealers on the internet. Ferrari parts dealers charge a lot for the same filter you can get for $36. For example: www.italiancarparts.com has the one for my 348 for $99.95. I found it on the net for $36. Just do searches for K&N dealers. Sometimes it's hard to search because most search engines interpret an & as code. I can't remember who I bought mine from. |

Just installed a K&N in my 84 308 that I purchased from Nick. Any difference in performance is minimal, but the car does "seem" more responsive when accelerating. My biggest complaint is my car idles higher now. 1500 vs. 1000 rpm. The filter shouldn't change the idle, but it did. I checked to make sure I didn't knock off a vacuum hose. Seems to be a high quality filter I'd recommend it. |

Not sure, but I'd imagine that the price for a K&N can't vary by more than $1 from place to place...not a huge discount on those buggers. |

Who has best price for K&N filters, and does it make any difference in performance. |
