Can you guys walk me through the purchase process? My thought was to add up everything that I think is significant from my own inspection of the car, and deduct that $ from the asking price. That number would be contingent on the result of the PPI. If the PPI shows up anything significant, then I would want to renegotiate. It seems to me that this approach at least protects the money I will be spending for the PPI.
