Greg, Th owner spoke with a the guy who runs the GTB Registry and he said that he knew of only two painted that color and this was the only one that was done in the Boxer style. This statement is not set in concrete but it's the best source so far. |

I saw a gold 308 at the Meadowbrook Historic Races several years ago. It was stunning, and left a real impression on me. Perhaps it's the same car, but I have no way of knowing. |

I keep a mental note of the different colors I've seen and that 308 struck as extremely unique. If you have an opportunity to speak with its' owner again, could you inquire how he did his research to find that he is 1 of 1? I know there are many 308 owners on this site who have asked that same question. Thanks for the pics, they were great! |

Greg, That 308 is a 76 308 Fiberglass (single Distributor) with orginal Gold paint in orginal Boxer style. Based on research it was 1 of 1 painted that color with boxer style. Just put an Electromotive in it (from Nick) for the owner and it flies. |

Paul, looks like you guys have too much fun over on the west coast. That is not cool. I would have met you on Sanibel but this weekend was shot. We have elections in our town next week and we were campaingning for the current commission so the challengers do not get into office. Had to do that to make sure my town stays what it is today. Peaceful and quiet. Will be there for the next one.
