The Mondial Cab will always be popular among a certain number of Ferrari enthusiasts...those who have never owned one. But seriously, there aren't many 150mph convertibles with a back seat. I don't see them depreciating much more. The dogs will turn into parts cars and the clean ones will feed off of the dogs, reducing supply. All of the mechanics I have talked to agree that cars will stay in great shape if they are driven just one day a month. Unfortunately, every 10 years you have to change the belts for whatever that will cost at that point in time if you want to run the engine at all. I think the pleasure of driving the car and maintaining the integrity of the seals outweighs the cost of replacing the timing belts.

I agree. Drive the car hard and put her up wet ! But, if you stored the car for 100 years or so I'm sure your great grandchildren would be able to sell the car for a tidy sum.

I agree with frank. Shes like a NYC pidgeon, a disease ridden wingged rat! (ok, maybe she doesnt have wings, but pidgeons do) Frankly, i dont find chicks that are like 65% plastic attractive, it also says something about their personality.

Also, i dont think a mondial is going to make u as much money if u invested it. Mondial prices also have some room to drop. There is no point to letting it sit and rot if its not going to make you any money. Probably what will happen is you will give in and drive it all the time, i know i would!

I would not let Pamela Lee Anderson clean my dog house. She is white trash and not that attractive IMHO. But she does come with her own airbags I suppose.

Buying a Ferrari and not driving it, is like hiring Pamela Lee to be just your house cleaner. Not a good use of the product..... And like Enzo, God would be pissed -- Both will be thinking, "I designed all of that just for you and you choose only to look at it?? WTF.."

If you don't want to drive the car, I suggest selling it to someone who will. Then take that money and invest it.

If you just park it -- you'll have a parts car.

If you park it and service it -- you'll still be underwater IMO.

Why would you want to own a Ferrari and not use it? Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me...

I have an '84 Mondial Cab. - any views on what you think it's value may be in 10, 20 or 30 years if I stored it today and never used it again?
