Rob, I'm having 2 hand made fountain pens made out of olive wood and rosewood. They are beautifully crafted and have the "cavallino Rampante" on the top of the pen. Looks real nice and feels great. When I get them done I'll post a pic (should be ready tomorrow). I bought them to see how they are made, I'm looking into making them myself (I work with wood) it might be something to look into. Right now they aren't cheap because they are hand made in low numbers. I think others may want a nice writing pen with the FC logo on it. What do you think? | ||

Ok, I sent them all out last night. I've had to adjust the shipping too. The packaging and shipping for the states was closer to $6 instead of $3. International ones cost $25 shipping, so my first shipment I lost all my profit. Actually, I should be paying everyone else for the advertising. Order away! | ||

I have them in my car, I plan on mailing them after work today. So unless any problems, they should go out today. Someone told me not to put the word Ferrari anywhere on the package and I can't remember who, so all of them will just have my name and address. | ||

POGS!!! You know, milk caps. Or, I wonder what kind of deal we could work out with Hot Wheels to get a cool 1:64 2002 or 2003 First edition car. The magazine Super Street had theirs. Drink coasters. Baseball caps would be really cool....I'll post more as these brainstorms come up. | ||

T-shirts, t-shirts, t-shirts. Maybe have a "form" shirt with the Ferrarichat.com logo on front left chest and then various saying/logos/mottos on the back. This way you could have a bunch of shirts produced fairly cheaply with just the front printed and when you wanted a new design you would just need to have the backs printed. As for actual designs I really want one that says "Porsche: The finest VW money can buy." (not to restart that thread because it is funny even if you, like me, like Porsche). Also ferrari has used various advertising slogans over the years, maybe you could put that on there. Two I recall are "Ferrari: We are the competition" and "Ferrari: Reality is beyond your imagination." Maybe a ferrariChat.com slogan contest? | ||

We already have the nice Polo shirts found above at the "Online Store". What items would you want and actually buy next? 1) The Racing window stickers that say "FerrariChat.com" or "FerrariChat.com Racing" or "Team FerrariChat.com". 2) T-shirts that say "FerrariChat.com" and something like "#1 Online Ferrari Community in the World" or "Member of Ferrari Protective Services" or "What's your username?". 3) Hats? 4) Ben had a good idea with removable tatoos? Any other ideas? |
