Actually, there are only a few tunnels from Monaco to Cannes - but the other way, from Monaco to Genova, more than a hundred. (I live in Nice) brgds Kurt |

Plus think about taking the Ferrari out on those glass smooth roads in a country where having a Ferrari is almost holy. |

The road from Monaco to Cannes runs along the coast & has so many tunnels!! That means 2nd gear, big rev's & music!! |

I've driven in Paris and Milan also and it is very congested and difficult but I wouldn't let that stop you. Make sure you know the roundabout rules so that you don't have problems-- there it's high risk unless you're sure what you're doing! But as Bernard said, the best part is the countryside, especially the drive along the Mediterranean -- San Remo, St. Tropez, Monte Carlo, Cannes. |

Don't be put off driving your car!! Sure the cities may be different to what your used to in the USA, but get out into the countryside & you will actually be driving the car on the very roads that it was designed for & tested on!! The traffic levels in the countryside & smaller towns are quite light & certainly I have never been to a country where the reception to a Ferrari is quite so special. As long as you park with a little care you'll be fine! I've driven my 328 in Paris & Milan (never Rome, I would be careful there!), its great! DO IT WHILE YOU CAN !! |

Hi Peter, You might check with your insurance co. I know that with my current ins. I am covered no matter what car I'm driving, and any vehicle I purchase is covered, no matter where it goes. On a side bar, I just returned from Italy. We toured the factory while in Maranello, pretty neet stuff.... But on the subject of driving your new 360 around Italy for a couple of weeks, If it were me, there's no way in hell I would subject my new car to those conditions... Thin streets full of pedestrian traffic, Large public transpertation buses, every imaginable sub compact car, then add a thousand vespas and other assorted motorbikes zipping in and out of traffic, and cutting in front of your car like like so what if I hit you. If you haven't been in the last 8 years, I would re-think driving, and trying to find sutable parking in Italy. Just my 2 cents worth... Good Luck with the new baby! Dave |

Does anyone have any information or contacts for complete coverage insurance for a new 360 I am taking delivery on this spring in Italy. I will be taking delivery at the factory and driving the car for a couple of weeks in Italy prior to shipping it to the states. Thanks for any help or advice, Peter Boli [email protected] |
