You are absolutely right! I did forget. Does anyone have information or a source to get the production breakdown for each year (yes I know that for Ferrari, they didn't produce and release a car as a "1984"...it simply whenever it rolled off of the assembly line)...but, there must be some rough numbers some place. |

Don't forget the 400's and 412's that were produced during that time also!! |

On one of the Ferrari websites out there, they published a listing of the number of Ferrari's produced in each of the years 1947 - 1997. In 1984 for example, Ferrari produced 2,842 cars...however, that would be a mixture of 308GTB-QVs, 308GTS-QVs, Mondials, and the 512BB. From that number, I figured roughly 400 of those were 512's, and the remaining 2400 would be split evenly between 308's and Mondials. Those numbers are close considering that Ferrari only produced 3790 308QVs from 1982 (late) through 1985. Are there records in the public domain that show the product mix of what Ferrari manufactured each year? |
