Not that its all that exciting, but apparently this dude waited about five minutes in triage at evergreen. Meanwhile his wife was being being "very rude" to everyone else in the hospital. go figure.

I want to know which pharmaceuticals Rob feeds Jennie to get her to agree to a 1300 sq ft apt and a 2000 sq ft garage. Can I get your dealers phone number? I had to have EVERYTHING else before I even got the Ferrari, much less a dream garage.

I don't think it's that unusual to have your possesions outweigh your home in value. Especially when you start collecting expensive cars. Let's not even get started on artwork, I've been in $2M houses with 10 times that worth in art hanging on the walls.

Sad to see an F-car go that way...too bad.

Dave, why bother with a meth lab. Cut out the middleman. Just put a computer and laser printer in your car and print out all the phony Benjamins that you need. And no noxious chemical fumes to contend with either.

Question the wisdom all you want, buying a house is not a high priority for me. My business is real estate management and development, so I'd rather invest my money in high-return projects rather than tie it up in a low-return asset like a house. Some people may not sleep well at night under this scenario, but behaving "traditionally" is not the way to get ahead in this world. I don't yet own my own house, and dont plan to do so for a while. I'd rather enjoy my Ferrari now while I am young, and I made a sacrifice for it. As far as I am concerned, my wisdom is just right...

Sell your house before the bubble bursts. 25% price increases each year. . . it all sounds to familiar.

Accidents sometimes happen with this new breed of upscale mobile Ferrari meth lab...
I was just telling a guy yesterday that the meth lab he was running out of the back of his 550 looked dangerous the way he had it vented out his Tubi.

I guess it would just depend upon how hard the particular Ferrari would be to find. Every town has a thousand houses that can be purchased any day of the week. Can a Ferrari enthusiast locate even one or two cars for sale in his local area any day of the week? I doubt it. You have to strike when the iron is hot. When you find a bargain Ferrari, (or any vintage car), you better buy it NOW! As for waiting until the mortgage is paid for, who is going to wait 15, 20, or 30 years to buy their Ferrari?

I question the wisdom or lack thereof of either buying an expensive toy such as a Ferrari prior to owning a home or buying a car worth more than your house unless the house is paid for with no mortgage.

That sucks, but I'm sure his insurance will cover it, right? :-)

On the topic of getting priorities striaght (my cars are worth more than my house also), A wise man once said "I can sleep in my car, but I can't drive my house".

My wife and I will be building a 1,300 square foot apartment with an almost 2,000 square foot garage on our new place next year.

A 308GTS , a high priced exotic car? Exotic yes, but geeh, Kids today drive cars worth more than that.

Remember the house may have cost much more. The fire only destroys the structure not the land. Questionable if the hosue was a total loss as well.

Ernesto, time to buy man. Real Estate is the way to go.
I can only encourace everybody to buy their own home at least.
