I have used the "dent wizard" twice on my 308. Both times, he removed 4 or 5 small dents from various places. Yes, the fender liner will have to be removed to get to your rear quarter panel. Easy 5 minute job, and the wheel can stay on. You really just need to remove the bolts and move the liner enough so he can get his tool to reach. No need to completely remove the liner. Most of the dents I kept getting were on the lower part of the doors, rocks and stuff would fly up and make small dents.

Russ, Remove the rear wheel and remove the inner fender panel. This exposes the entire underside of the rear 1/4 panel. Easy access to the dent.

I had about 10 dings taken out with the paintless dent repair on my 308 and they did a perfect job. A few of the dents were on the area between the rear wheel and the door. He had to drill a small (about 1/4") hole to get his tool in and later pluged it with a rubber plug. You can only see the plug if the door is open and you are looking for it. Maybe they can get to yours without by taking off the rear wheel. You should call them and have them take a look at it. My repair only cost 150.00

From what I have been able to learn, those dentless guys have to get behind the dent which is easy if it is a door. Mine is just back of the oild cooler duct and I do not think that you can get behind it without taking a lot of stuff out of the engine compartment. Maybe I am wrong on this and there is another way of doing it. Any thoughts?

Just discovered a very faint ding on the rear quarter panel. Can't see it head on but you can from the right angle. Any suggestions on how best to fix this without repainting the entire pane. Have heard of dentless repari but don't know what that is.
