For those of you with a 328 GTS, the tire pressures recommended by Ferrari are in the middle console, underneath the locking box next to the seat belt buckle. Don't remember exactly, but if memory serves it's something like 32 front, 36 rear. My suggestion is to check pressures frequently, since it significantly affects handling as well as tire wear. |

The Ferrari engineers carefully consider weight and balance loads when setting a tire pressure for a particular car. Use these figures, posted usually on a sticker inside the passenger door. For non-Z rated tires, I usually increase pressure by 4-7 psi for track events. Z-rated tires should always be driven at the specified sticker pressure, whether track or street. Always check pressures cold. allowances are made by the engineers for increased pressure with tire warming |

Remember, more air pressure means less traction. So if you have excess traction at one end of the car, and want it better ballanced, add air to that (excess traction) end of the car. I use this all the time to ballance out the car for general neutrality, and just a hint of oversteer. |

The book says 33 front and rear. See what you like from there. If you do not have a manual. I could fax you the pg. which also gives pressure tuning tips(if x is happening do this with F or R pressure. I just put on S-03s this weekend, max pressure is 51 lbs. I'm running 34 F 36 R. Started at 44 F and R it was like a steamroller, it did bite hard. |

This sight never ceases to amaze me...I was just about to do a search on tire pressure b/c my tires were at 22 psi when I checked them for the 1st time this weekend. I will try at 32/34. Thanks Bruce and Randy. |

You might want to keep them at or around 32 or even 34 psi COLD and then adjust from there. Sure you can run them at a higher psi rating but the ride will be slightly harsher so it all depends on how you drive the car. also, in balancing out the car with minor adjustments such as tire pressures - get the fronts where you want them and then adjust the rears higher or lower. this provides proper turn-in for the fronts and adjustment of any over/understeer left to the rear. |

I recently purchased a set of Dunlop SP8000 tires for my 308 QV. The tires have a max. pressure of 44 psi. What is the proper psi for me to fill the tires with? I have always had tires with a lower psi rating and usually kept them at 32 psi. TIA. |
