Bruce et al, So you are meeting this Sat. at 8.00 am instead of 7.30 am? OK, I'll be there as well. Is this at the intersection of 523 & 32 (on PA side), as I see on the map? I don?t believe this! Evert time I make plans to get together with you guys, something comes up. I?m the exhibit project designer for a new wing for the Mariners? Museum in Newport News, VA. The museum is going to house the recovered portions of the USS Monitor. I just got a call this morning that NOAA and the Navy are ready to lift the Monitor?s turret this weekend. I have to jump on a flight tomorrow morning, and then drive to Cape Hatteras. A two hour boat ride later, and I?ll be on the Navy barge Wotan to watch the recovery. Not a bad substitute for a Ferrari get together, but the timing really stinks. I?ll have to wait for the BBQ in August. Bruce, I spoke to Phil a bit before I bought my car, he really is knowledgable, and as you said, a very nice guy. | ||

Not a concours. No mininum point rule for 1,2,3.rd place. Big scratch will be noticed however who cares.I only enter cars to get to drive in park and have car in front of me all day.I have won 1st 2nd and third prizes in previous years.This year I am not much of a threat as I am bringing my daily driver. | ||

Guys, Is this a Concours? What�s the difference between this event and the FCA get-together this September in New Hope? Finally, I�ve been thinking about entering my car in a Concours, but am a little self-conscious about the world�s worst paint chip on my bumper. Am I being ridiculous? Should I try to fix it? I suppose one way to find out what kind of condition your car is in is to enter a Concours. I have an aftermarket exhaust, so I�ll lose some points there, I guess. | ||

Bruce, Thanks, I may be able to get to New Hope on one of those days: 10-11 Aug. When do you plan to be there, Sat. or Sun.? Where exactly in New Hope is it, can you provide any details please? After a 10 year absence and extreme pressure from my son I will be showing a car at New Hope this year. Any one else entering? or Going.I cant believe it is now 25 bucks to enter. Use to be 5. |
