355's are great cars, they were pretty much the first daily driver Ferrari. The 95s are the ones with increased performance (more engine power, lower gear ratios), but they are also the ones with the most problems. I would have it thoroughly checked by a Ferrari mechanic and talk with them about it, if all is well, trade for it, you will love a 355. It's the perfect compliment to your TR. The 355 is my favorite Ferrari (next to my 308QV). |

I have a 98 twin turbo. I wish it was an even swap but I have to pay about 15 grand more. Have you guys ever heard of any of the drawbacks to owning a 355 gtb? |

5 was driving my Lotus when someone in a 355gtb pulled up next to me and asked me if I was interested in a trade. A client of his is looking for Lotus and asked me if I was willing to trade for a 355gtb. I told him I would consider it. Anyone can tell me the downsides of a 355, I have the Forza article concerning valve guides,clutch. Anyone ever have those problems? It is a 1995 which I've heard has more horsepower due to the ECU management. |
