ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH ????

Call or contact Tino from Mensi here on the advertiser list. He is a great guy and can get you a nice TUBI for your machine. Drove home last night with a friend. Me driving the 348 Spdier, he was driving the 355 Spider with a Tubi. WHAT A GREAT SOUND compared to mine:-)

As for the car cover, the red one by Andrea is a nice top and can be bought at a Ferrari dealer.

Manu is in the UK and his new premises are exactly opposite the Maranello concessionaires at Egham, Surrey.

At least the front end of the 360 is functional, not like the 348 with the fake grills and scoops. If anything, having the fake grills and scoops is more Japanese that anything else!

Ernesto

PS I have yet to see a Toyota with a 360-style front end.

Hey guys,I love all Ferraris and Dinos regardless of their nomenclature. But, while I like the 360's performance and high technology, I still think the front end looks like a Toyota !

Boy,Frank is certainly getting more mileage out of his Dino b.s. than it deserves.
My next new years resolution is to stop posting retorts about Frank and this issue-------but I can't resist!

LWR,
Second the suggestion to speak with Manu. He's set up shop in Egham and I'm sure will let you try different exhausts to see which one you like best. I went the Koenig route (v. similar to Hamann) with the 456 and it's bloody awesome! I think it sounds like a 355 on red meat. Loud enough for me (but not Manu, who keeps on at me to try test pipes) but not so loud it gets on my nerves.

Why not get the standard Ferrari car cover? I have the standard red cloth covers, though I don't use them at all. The cars are garaged and I like to be able to see them.

Sorry I also wanted to ask... does anybody know of any WAV/MP3 files out there that compare stock 550 exhaust not to Tubi etc.

Thanks!

LWR:

On count one, only one name comes to mind: Manu. He's in the UK; although w/ my bout of geographic retardation, I couldn't tell you where if I tried, and I believe he sells Tubi/Hamman/Fuchs(?). Second question, I've used one I bought through www.jegs.com, however Griots Garage have some nice covers as well, follow the link below:
http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.jsp?searchtext=car+cover

Hope this helps,
Hubert

After thinking about selling my 550 for a long time, I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep it... forever!

I'd appreciate people's input on the following...

1. What's the best sounding ftermarket exhaust for the 550? Can anybody recommend where in the UK/London/SouthEast I might get one fitted? What would I need to pay?

2. Can anybody recommend a car cover for the 550. It's garaged, just I plan to drive it only once or twice a month and would like to keep the dust off.

Thanks,

LWR
