Jens, this car gives so much joy. There is a service shop by Frankfurt, they do excellent work on F-cars for less. I wish I could remember the name but can ask my buddy to pass by and find out. I think it was Fricke & Lahme, just west of Hoechst/Frankfurt. | ||

Hi everybody, It is now exactly one year and one day that I bought my first Ferrari. It was one day before my 27th birthday and it should be a present I just made to myself. To be honest I was a little bit afraid that the costs for the car would be to high (Everybody who wants to buy a car from Ferrari hears these horror stories about service costs, tax insurance etc.etc.). Although the costs for the official services are really stunning my 348tb has run absolutely perfect ever since. I have made about 6000km in the first year and although I like my 911 very much it cannot compared to a Ferrari. A car from Maranello is like a good Barolo or a Cohiba or my favourite menue at my favorite italian restaurant: It just lets you forget a week of hard work or frustration for a while. To drive around on a lonely country road or the autobahn is like a short vacation for me. Last I wanted to thank all members of this fantastic site for answering all possible and impossible questions about Ferrari: You are real experts!!! Furthermore I want to thank everybody for giving me mental support when some blokes stole the emblems of my car and even scratched some paint of the hood. I was extremly angry about that and your response to my thread really ment a lot to me. Because of this jubile I have made some rather unusual pictures of my car (Hope this works somehow).      |
