Ed, a Ferrari is NEVER a question of need.

There is nothing wrong with being in love with your Fcar.

I am trying to figure a way to keep it but two red/tan Sports cars are much more than I need. I keep telling my wife that "IT NEEDS ME".

I have dusted off the Ferrari three times to one over my new Corvette. Someone please buy it before I change my mind or go out of it.

I'm sure if you let them run their hands along the lines of your car, they won't bother you after that...just make sure they keep their gloves on.

There are little men in white coats waiting for all of you. Come to think of it me too.

Beside's touching, I also talk to the cars.
Before leaving the garage I tell them that I am really glad there here.
Total looser!

Well, I'm definitely a loser, but maybe even more so. I'm guilty of running the back of my hand across the finish of other cars to see how bad/nice the finish is.

I accept your judgement...

Now if you were doing this to a 1983 Chevrolet Celebrity or a Yugo, I would be compelled to call you a loser. More specifically, I would call you an ass-hat.

A Ferrari is a different matter--enjoy the car.

If I had a Ferrari I'd sleep in it the first night of ownership.

LOSER!

Just kidding - it's appropriate so long as it's done in private, but remember - blindness can be a side effect!

I do the same to my Lotus; I'm a bigger loser since it's not a Ferrari Dino 246 (but I love my little death trap anyway!)

You are a LOSER!

Prove:
I have been accused of being a loser all my life. Started in Elementary School by my teacher. I run my hand accross my cars always so yes, here is your prove! According to my Elementary teacher, you and I are both LOSERS!

Its great to be a loser, nobody expects anything from you :-)

"I actually went out tonight and ran my hand along the lines of the car. Am I a complete loser who needs a life or a true Tifosi?"

Depends on what you were doing with your other hand!

I resist running my hands along the lines of my F-car because the oils from my skin will leave deposits on the paint which affect its sheen and chemical composition. Thus, you are, in my estimation, living life dangerously and to the fullest. Have you ever left the car in the garage after it has gotten absolutely filthy from driving, and resisted the thought of cleaning it? If so, you are truly a balanced individual.

I knew a guy who drooled over the Ferrari every morning as he ran his hands along the curves of the car. One morning the salesman told him to leave the showroom if he wasn't going to buy the car.

I do that every morning in the garage on the way to my daily driver. Have to make sure it isn't a dream.

I actually went out tonight and ran my hand along the lines of the car. Am I a complete loser who needs a life or a true Tifosi?
