ok. well not to take away from this but.....did read in road and track a few months ago that the murcielago now has the honor of holding those various records....... wonder what the value of one of these 550's is? anybody know? | ||

It comes with as stock: -Fiorano handling package -racing seats -racing harnesses -carbon fibre trim (?) -"land speed record" badges -Fire extinguisher (?) The land speed record - refers to the 550M being the holder of the highest average speed over an hour and highest average speed over 100 miles including fuels stops - the average for both records was 180mph plus including fuels stops which means the engine was close to being redlined in 6th for ages - this is a celebration model. | ||

Saw the car at the FCA National in Atlanta 99. FNA claims the car is stock except w/ safety improvements. I think its Silver. | ||

what is this car? i have seen it advertised for sale, and i have seen it listed in the production listings. the total production was 33. it looks like a regular 550, so what is the 'world speed record' addendum referring to? |
