Martin, thanks for the compliments about the garage. Someday I'll start a new post and add pix but I may need Faye's help as to how to do it. We are going to Seattle Sept.1. Sorry that you and Faye won't be there! Tell us about the Sun River weekend! Perhaps next year but we are going on a cruise to Alaska Sept.14.
Gary, looking forward to seeing you and Sue again on Sept 1. We'll drive down Sept 1 and stay overnight in Bellevue and head home Sept 2.

I'm going to the concours but only as a spectator this year. The scratches I got last year got me concerned. Also, it would be nice to enjoy the waterfront without worrying about the car for once. |

We met last year at the Vancouver Italian show and you showed us (Gary & Sue) the brand new garage you were having built at your home for the TR. Some how we didn't get a chance to talk to you or Char at this year's June Italian show....
I will be bringing my Ferrari & Fiat Turbo Spider to the Seattle event on Sept 1st. We hope to see you and Char there!!

I just looked at your profile and I see you will be coming from the north. Here is a hotel suggestion. It is outdoor parking, but it is attended and it is a decent hotel. It is also just down the street from the Pier, so if you do a mapquest search on it you will get an idea of where you want to go.

It is on Alaskan Way (the waterfront) in downtown Seattle. One way to go is to take Madison St exit off I-5 and follow it all the way to the waterfront. But there are many alternatives. It is north of the ferry docks and south of the Port Authority buildings. It is directly west of the Pike Place Market. There are plently of hotels in town with safe indoor parking. None are cheap but there is a wide range to choose from. |

I'd like to attend! Can anyone help and tell me where in Seattle is Pier 62/63 and how do you get there from the I-5? Also is there a nearby good hotel with "safe" overnight parking? Don. |

Hmmmmm.....I assumed there were a good number here that were from the Seattle area.
Maybe we could get a better turnout, from a wider area if Nika agreed to travel down south for the show???....maybe she could sign autographs and paint yellow prancing horses on the foreheads of all F-Chat members that show up?.....at least that would make the show more interesting...... |
