I already have a 1990 Tr.
I had someone inspect car Fri .morn., needs a little bit of work, but hard to resist 700 or 800 hp. Had a heavily modified Porsche that would require me having to go to Ft. Laud (where my mechanic is). A little bit of a pain, but considering the horsepower and that it is a weekend car ( not a daily driver), worth the hastle.
If we work out a deal , needs service. Trying to figure if I should go to my mech., or to Shelton. Heard Shelton has great service. Would they work on heavily modified cars like this?

..Car had a "rough" spot from 2k to 4k, but ran great after. Will probably install a Motec.
Tranny was tough to put in gear a few times, my biggest concern. Putting aside 2 or 3k for tranny , hope that's enough. Clutch fell fine though,, no slipping.

Thanks,
Taso

Don't touch that thing. What are you going to do if something goes wrong? But if you have to, make sure that the conversion complies to all US standards and that u have the right papers.
