in fact for free the cars were on display in merrick for anyone who walked up. I let a couple of kids off the street sit in my car and take pics |

Des, info was posted on this site a few weeks ago, check under the Tri state region more often - to my knowledge a $100 bucks would have gotten you included - no f-car needed. To make you more upset these 60 cars all drove from merrick to hamptons on the sunrise highway and numerous back roads - anyone could have followed if they could keep up |

ok... sigh... Have you ever looked at something you're just absolutely, madly in love with and felt sick...? that's how i felt when i saw the picture from Tom's link. a group of gorgeous ferraris, all sitting together, TWO DAYS AGO, IN THE HAMPTONS...! Being a Suffolk County resident (Commack), you can imagine my dismay when i stumbled upon this post... Was this event for Ferrari drivers only...? if not, were the only others included, donators...? 'cause i would've donated... How does someone like me find about these things and find out whether or not i can attend...? Other than magazines (and now the pictures some of you have provided), i've never seen an F50... i don't know if i would be able to maintain myself, given the chance to stand next to one... i'm speechless just thinking about it... Just the idea that an event like this took place so close to me will leave a lasting impression in my mind for a long time... and it's all that much more breathtaking when "well-to-do" folks can volunteer their time and money for a good cause... -des |

thanks, nothing major - its just when your wife has only left the kids once in 4 years its hard for her to leave them the second time and have them be sick - she is an old fashioned italian mom, what can I say |

Well my wife and I went to the rally yesterday. What a turn out!! must have been over 60-75 cars at the start from a 275 to an F50. well I decided to start the rally behind the F50 which led the way. what a great time!!! We ended up with the front group F50, my mondial, a 360, a 355 spider and a 246 GTS. what a blast!!! on the highway we ran three wide and exchanged positions regularly. The rally was over two hours in 95 degree heat but all the cars did well. It ended at a gorgous home in the hamptons with a big charity event. All the cars parked around the house and they took an ariel photo. I will post the pics soon - what a day |
