Jerry was that for the entire spool or just the cable? My spool works, I just don't have a cable. |

I got mine at Evans Automotive in Columbus (www.evansauto.com). I think it was about $50 or $60 for one of them. You will then need to go to a motorcycle shop to get the little metal ferrels to solder on the ends of the cable. Good luck, Jerry. |

While restoring my 75 GT4 I took apart the drivers side door panel. The window motor works but the cable that goes around the network of pulleys has broken in two. I've seen the motors for sale, but does anyone sell just the spool with the cable? I've taken the spool apart and it seems like a new cable wire could go in there, but the cable is supposed to be a loop. Not sure how to fasten it so that it is a complete loop Any ideas on rebuilding it or where to get the spool? |
