Thanks for putting those all together Mike. I had heard this info was around last year when I was trying to figure out how to get my car ready for judging, but hadn't been able to find it anywhere online. I feel much better equipped now to tackle the job of bringing my GTC up to snuff for judging. Maybe there's an award in the future for my toy yet.

If you'd like to see a breakdown of the Concours judging criteria, point your browser to http://www.fca-se.org/concours.htm
and look at #6.

JScott, Rivee,

Looking forward to seeing you guys at the show. I'm probably one of the only guys attending with a black 328. There is an interesting list of exhibitors on concorso.com, under 'Ferrari' that you should take a look at!

Frank,

Thanks for the info. I picked up the black plastic caps from the dealer. I noticed the metal caps on the pages of "Original Ferrari V8."

Jim: I'm going to have my car there as well. Don't make yours too special, I don't want to feel insecure! Look forward to the event, I have an 89 328 as well, mine is white with red interior. Hope to see you there. Should be many from F-Chat there as well.

1)plastic; 2) www.italiancarparts.com can re-silkscreen your airbox. They did my 328 and did a great job.

As some of you know, I'm preparing for my first show out at the Quail Lodge on the 16th. I'm a bit bewildered as to how detailed the judges will be.

Can you guys help with the following two questions?

1989 328 GTS #80049

1. What do the original valve stem caps look like for the car? Are they the black-plastic type from the dealers or are they metal? (Yes, I feel a bit stupid asking this question)

2. The airbox cover silkscreen that normally say's "Ferrari" (in white paint) does not exist. I'm not sure that it ever did. I can take care of this in an afternoon, but it would be pointless to do so if it was not supposed to be there.

Thanks!

Jim Christian
