I am forwarding Greg's query that he sent to me. I hope someone can help.
Hey Jerry, I was wondering if you could help with a 308 question. I had a question about floats. Do they go out of adjustment? I am still having the reverse/hill problem. The car runs great in all of the forward gears, low end power. The problem I am still having is that when I will go out of my driveway or up a hill in reverse the car will feel like it is going to stall out unless I have lots of momentum then I will make it up ok but if not the more gas I give it the more it will want to stall. I am thinking a float problem. What do you think. I can go up the hill in 1st gear with no problem but in reverse it will want to stall and seems like a fuel problem,
the car can be warm or cold same effect. The car runs very strong in the
forward gears and reverse is fine unless I am going out my driveway or a
fairly steep hill. Thanks for the info. GREG

P.S. I have synced the carbs, XR700s, timing ok, etc. e someone can help. Thanks Jerry
