It's taken me 2 months to get around to it, but all went well until I checked out the heater hoses. Dina - HELP. regards - Peter |

Thanks Erik, through the wheel arch seems the go. I was not keen on removing the headlight pods. I'll make a complete aluminium bracket up and epoxy/rivet to the existing housing. With the amount of vibration under there I don't think just repairing the tabs will last long. |

I repaired Mark's 308 motors and rewelded them thru both the wheel arch and thru the front grille(which had both been removed) I believe they will only fit thru the wheel arch with a wheel off. If they work and the plastic mount is simply broken off, you can do some creative taping so as to build a dam and then either fibreglas or use supermend epoxy(from home depot paint dept) to rebuild the broken tabs. Another option is to fabricate an aluminum bracked and pop rivet it to the housing after you have epoxied it to the plastic. Hope this helps! |

Hi, I am new to the Ferrari hobby (very steep learning curve)and just bought an '85 GTS308QV. I have noticed that both my heater fan motors have broken away from mountings and are bouncing around in the front valance panel area. Is this common ? How's the best way to get to them. 1.Through the grille. 2. remove headlight. 3. remove wheelarch panel. There's more, but for another day. Regards - Peter |
