There will probably be some left over ones because the gasket sets fit a variety of year models that use different rings in different places. My set included rings for the transmission shift shaft as well as other areas. |

You'll know which studs that use them, as the mating surface of the cross-over pipe has the stud bores chamfered. It's the funny-looking thing on the left side of this pic:

Pete I did not notice (or remember) the two you mentioned. Which studs and where? M |

There are two small ones for the cross-over coolant pipe studs (the one joining the cylinder heads...). Same idea and sizes as the one just below the oil pump (except here, the studs pass right into the coolant passages). There should be two more for the distributor shafts. That's all I can think of now, in addition to the ones you posted... |

Well I put the tranny on the engine and almost forgot the blasted little O-ring in one of the studs (the one going into the oil pump bore). So, before I forget again, where are the other little o-rings go? I remember 4 o-rings in the cam shafts / pulleys. 2-3 orings in the clutch/tranny/engine housing. 1 oring at the stud going into the oil pump bore. Anything else?
