I think this is one of those rare instances where a less-expensive aftermarket part is actually superior to the OEM part (although, the last time I looked into this, circa 1996, the OEM part wasnt that pricey so give us your pricing now for comparison). Ive been very pleased with the Prothane-brand of mounts from J.C.Whitney (I know, Whitney?, but IMHO its a quality design at a great price): http://www.jcwhitney.com/productnoitem.jhtml?CATID=36715 I found the large bracket 11/16 version (85ZX9777B) to work very well on the 18mm rear 308 anti-roll bar while the small bracket 11/16 version (88ZX7452A) is best for the 18mm front anti-roll bar. (Im not sure what model you have so please measure your own anti-roll bars before ordering.) If you're interested, heres the links to scans of a two page article on this subject that Mr. Roush was kind enough to include in the 13 April 1996 issue of the FML: Page 1: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=972829&a=8468088&p=42080195 Page 2: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=972829&a=8468088&p=42080190 |

Anybody use non Ferrari rear sway bar bushings? What is the best source and part number. I'm sure there must be some similar out there for less than 1/2 the Ferrari price. |
