Mitchell,

You can leave the bell housing on. You have to take off both exhaust manifolds. My A/C was off at the time but you may be able to leave it on.

After almost four months of waiting for all the machine shop work, a couple of false starts, untold stupid mistakes on my parts, I am ready to drop my engine back in. Question for the team:

Is it possible to drop the engine in the 75GT4 with the transmission clutch housing all in place? On the way out, I took out the bell housing for more clearance. But on the way back, I am contemplating dropping the whole thing in as one unit. I would hate to believe that the factory drops the engine in without having install the bell housing.
