Thanks--it's the short ( only a few inches long ), straight hose directly under the front distributer. If it's only a vent hose then probably not much oil goes through it, correct..or not? |

And if you are talking about the one that is connected to the bottom of the engine (crank case ventilation, I think) then it is a straight hose and it is of 7/16 inch in diameter. Buy it by the foot at Pepboys for about $1 a foot. The original one is fabric covered, and I cannot find it anymore but I have not looked terribly hard. |

If you are talking about the hose that is like a question mark in reverse, then what I did for mine is take it off, go to Pepboys, rummage thorough their hose selection to find one that has the right shape some where in the hose, and cut it to fit. They did have one, and it costs about $10. Don't know what Ferrari would charge you for something like that. May be $30. |

Say does anyone know the exact diameter of that short oil hose that is mounted just below the front bank distributer of an '85 308? Mine's leaking a bit and I'd like to replace it. Is it a standard size or one of those "special Ferrari sizes? |
