My TR gave me trouble with the right window. It would go down but would not go up all of the way. Remove the door panel, not tough (do not forget the bolts under the plastic pocket), and check the bolts / nuts attaching the window to the cable. The do loosen up. Took a few times to adjust, but woorks well now. |

One possible quick fix (worked on my 308) is to roll the window down, and spray silicone spray down both window felt channels. This reduction in friction helps a great deal, and you may find the window will now close all the way. Just a temp fix, but if I did this twice a year, I had no further problems... |

In my Boxer, the grease inside the lifter had hardened into wax, so a simple cleaning out and re-lube of the ring gear restored proper operation. |

If it went up before, and now it doesn't, then something must be getting stuck. You will probably have to remove the door panels and investigate. |

My 1990 Tr window does not go up all the way. Is there a common problem? |
